Warriwul - luxurious rural barn-style cottage in the heart of Berry

Cottage in Berry
From $395 to $475 /night

Luxurious rural barn-style cottage in tranquil garden surrounds just 2kms from the heart of Berry.
An easy 25-minute walk or 2-minute drive from Berry town centre along beautiful tree-lined Kangaroo Valley Road, this cottage is sure to surprise and delight.

Set in the grounds of a former dairy, the landscaped gardens, birdlife and resident echidnas will welcome you to the front door. Private and spacious, this charming sanctuary will offer a genuine retreat providing all the peace and relaxation you could hope for.

Once inside, the soaring ceilings and light-filled rooms including open-planned living area, oversized bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom, all lovingly collated with a collection of vintage décor create a cosy and comfortable ambiance.

Start the day with a cuppa on the front verandah and enjoy the view of the flowering gum tree, conifer hedge and authentic gyspy wagon nestling under the eucalypts. End with a BBQ or simply bask in the sunlight on the rear deck overlooking the native gardens. Either way enjoy the sights and sounds of the many and varied bird visitors.

Indoors, unwind with a wine in front of the slow combustion fireplace or grab a book or boardgame from the library, but don’t forget when night falls to go outside and look up. Pronounced worri-wool, “Warriwul” is the local Dharawal name for Milky Way – be prepared to be mesmerised by the stars in the clear night skies.

Luxurious linens and lush bathroom products will leave you feeling pampered and well rested in one of two king beds.
Locally made produce, Twinings teas and Nespresso coffee are yours to enjoy before hitting the charming township where you can wander amongst the myriad of restaurants, cafes, pubs, galleries, craft, fashion and homewares stores that make Berry such a coveted destination.

You will find beautiful beaches only 10 minutes’ drive away as well as wineries, golf courses and several breathtaking bushwalks and waterfalls.

Perfect in every way

Warriwul is a beautiful combination of rustic charm & luxury touches! Located just out of town within easy walk for a morning coffee or 5min cycle to the greatest kids play park I have ever seen. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back for sure!

Would recommend!

We had a great time on our stay and would recommend to anyone that is considering. Easy to get into Berry but tucked away and private at the same time.

A cosy weekend away

Jennifer J - 7th June 2023

Warriwul is a beautiful property that is well looked after. I booked it for myself and a girlfriend to have a weekend away. The bottle of wine on welcome was greatly appreciated. I was a bit worried when I saw the fire was the only source of heat but I managed to get a great fire going on both days that warmed the whole place and just added to the whole experience. There was some wood provided but I also got a bag from the service station. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything.

Luxuriously quiet & relaxing

A beautifully presented cottage that was warm and welcoming. Plenty of room for 2 couples with many amenities. I love to cook and found the kitchen easy to work in. Set well away from neighbors and street noise, it was quiet and private.
