Family Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away just as we imagined - a little private getaway with some good activities to share with the kids! We bought along our little dog and sporting gear and really enjoyed the outdoor tennis court and gardens the most! Lovely renovated bathrooms and relaxed feel to the home!

A wonderful few days spent at this amazing property. The kids were well entertained with the tennis court whilst the parents could unwind on the verandah overlooking the exceptional grounds. What an excellent break we all enjoyed.

Charming and peaceful

What a delight it was stay at Red Hill. Quiet country charm in a lovely location, and well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay (the choice of 3 different types of coffee-making appliances was a bonus for this coffee lover!). The front verandah is glorious in the morning for that coffee, and the rear verandah is perfect for sundowners and bird watching. The open fire and comfy lounges were very welcome on cooler nights, and the recent bathroom renovations are very impressive!

Lovely experience

We had a lovely stay... the newly renovated bathrooms were delightful. The grounds where well maintained and my family made good use of the tennis court. There was plenty of firewood and we enjoyed the rustic charm of the home.

Quiet country getaway

Peaceful country home with a beautiful garden outlook, air con and an open fireplace for those colder nights. Tennis court (& basketball hoop) was a hit with all the family. 10 minute drive to explore the shops and cafes of Berry. Highly recommend

We had the best time

We had the best time at Redhill. The house was charming - a real escape back to nature. The stand out were the gardens - so beautiful and peaceful. The tennis was good too.

We had a lovely weekend at this property. Very well appointed and clean. Fabulous balcony to just sit and read a book or watch out for the local wildlife. Saw a wombat in the garden. First time seen one up close and alive. There are some lovely gardens to explore and you can also throw some hoops or have a game of tennis. All equipment provided. Bedrooms are well appointed. All very close to Berry for a spot of shopping. You also have Foxtel ++ should weather close in.

Lovely country house in a nice rural setting. A bit outside of the town but perfect for a country getaway.

Terrific relaxing family holiday

We have stayed at Redhill many, many times and we keep coming back because it is a perfect holiday house for our family. It is in a great location, the house is perfect, there is plenty of wildlife nearby (echidnas, kangaroos, wombats etc.) and the tennis court and basketball hoop are well used. We will be back again!

Warm and cosy on a very wet weekend

We managed to pick an incredibly wet November weekend for our stay at Redhill, but it was a fantastic place to sit and watch the rain come down. The open fire was awesome with plenty of firewood to help keep us warm. The place is lovely, comfortable and well-appointed. The gardens were beautiful and we had a couple of visits from a wombat. When the sun finally came out on Monday morning, we had a play on the tennis court, which is in very good condition, and there are good racquets supplied

Delightul stay over June long weekend 2020

As two families we stayed at Redhill over the June long weekend and it was delightful. The farm house was clean and well equipped with a fireplace and plentiful supply of wood (which was most welcome). The grounds are large and verdant in which our children delighted in exploring. There is a tennis court that was used with gusto for family competitions. We saw a wombat much to everyone's delight. Day trips into Berry and to the Coolongatta Estate winery perfected our experience.

Fabulous property. Clean quiet well equipped. Tennis court was fantastic and loved sitting in front and back verandah listening to the birds and well, nothing else. Wally the wombat came out every night at dusk which eased delightful. Foxtel great. Location couldn’t gone better

Hidden gem

Lovely quiet retreat 5 mins drive up the mountain from Berry. The house, nestled in garden and surrounds of 3 acres was private and secluded, but not that far away from Berry to feel isolated. Comfortable older style house.

Lots of birds and other wildlife including resident wombats. Well equipped kitchen. The dog loved exploring the grounds and following all the scents. . The humans loved watching the birds and hearing the wind in the trees. The shower has great pressure and is nice and hot.

Tennis in the treetops

We loved our stay at Redhill and would come again. We were blessed with sunny but chilly weather and the open fireplace was put to good use. Nice linen and comfy beds, reasonable amount of kitchen implements, very hot showers, and a tennis court bathed in sunshine for most of the day.

Birthday weekend

A lovely country getaway, just the right amount of rugged country charm matched with the comforts of home. The tennis court is ta great addition.

Great home and property. We loved the house and the tennis court. It was a lovely home and wonderful to be able to take our dogs.. They had just a good a time as we did.

Beautiful house, surrounds and tennis court! My family and I stayed at Red Hill for 3 days. The house is absolutely beautiful, the doggy loved the surrounds and the whole family thoroughly enjoyed the tennis court. We probably played 10 hours of tennis over the three days. Despite a mix up of keys I'm giving this property 5 stars because the house is fantastic and Berry Getaways were really good to deal with and fix the problem. Would highly recommend this to others.

Amazingly peaceful. Loved it couldn’t have asked for a better place to escape the city life. Extremely quiet. Service at berry getaways was amazing as well. Thank you all so much. The property was extremely clean as well.
